Ole Miss football's 2026 season opener is less than two months away.
The Rebels open their season with neutral site game against Louisville in the Music City Kickoff at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sept. 6 (6:30 p.m. CT, ABC).
This will be the program's second ever game against Louisville. The first was a 43-24 win in 2021.
It will be Ole Miss' first regular-season game with Pete Golding as coach. The Rebels are coming off a 13-2 season in which they made it to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff in the Fiesta Bowl.
Golding coached the Rebels to a 2-1 playoff record after being promoted from defensive coordinator on Nov. 30 after Lane Kiffin left for LSU.

Buy 2026 Ole Miss football tickets
The cheapest tickets available on StubHub for Ole Miss' game against Louisville are $86. Prices for tickets in the second level begin at $164, and prices for tickets in the lower bowl start at $147.
Tickets on Seat Geek are as low as $67 and tickets on Vivid Seats start at $74.
As part of the Music City Kickoff, there will be a concert the day before the game. It will be at the Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Sept. 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT. Lee Brice, Gabby Barrett and Payton Smith are all scheduled to perform. Tickets for the concert go on sale July 10 at 10 a.m. CT and can be purchased here.
