Earlier Tuesday, ESPN announced that it's popular road show, College Gameday, will be in Baton Rouge for the season opener between LSU and Clemson to help usher in the Lane Kiffin era at LSU.
LANE KIFFIN ON CLEMSON OPENER Lane Kiffin''s early thoughts on LSU football season opener vs Clemson
Since the SEC released its conference schedule for the 2026 season that featured Kiffin and LSU heading to face his former team at Ole Miss in Week 3, the speculation has been that it would be a night game as well as a College Gameday choice.
The two matchups for LSU are arguably the most anticipated games on that particular day. Expectation is that both games will be ranked matchups.
