'Hate to spoil the party, but ten games do not make a half-season.
As I posted in the game thread . . . well, I'll paste it here . . .
It would be tough for Ketel to be elected to an All Star position when he divides his time between 2B and CF.
National stats has him listed at three positions, including SS. That affects public perception and hints at utility player.
For his 226 official at-bats so far this season, his BAVG is .279, OBP is .332, SLG% is .531 and OPS is .863.
Extending his stats to the 520 official at-bats he had last season, here are the rest of his projections.
30 HR's, 78 RUNS and 90 RBI's. Very good for the D-backs.
But it is doubtful his stats would put him at #1 or #2 at either position in the voting.
Greinke will be a lock for pitchers, but probably our only 2019 All Star.
Especially if the D-backs continue fighting to get and stay above .500 as a team.
