Here is a look at The Arizona Republic's top 10 high school girls basketball player performances for the week ending on Feb. 7, 2026. Coaches provided input. Vote in our poll for the player you think had the best week. The poll will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. Print readers can find the poll online at azcentral.com/sports/high-schools.

Top girls basketball players of the week​


Cadence Murdough, Gilbert Higley, Jr.: Against the No. 2-ranked team in the state at the time, Gilbert Campo Verde, Murdough put up 33 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in a 67-65 win. The next night against Gilbert Highland, she had 16 points, seven rebounds and two blocks (including a clutch block on a layup that would have tied the game with under 30 seconds) to secure the 56-54 win and pass 1,000 career points.

Dashia Richardson, Goodyear Millennium, Jr.: She scored 23 points, shooting four of six from the 3-point line, in a crucial 42-40 win over Surprise Valley Vista.

Skylie Gonzales, Gilbert Mesquite, Jr: In the same week that her mom, Candice, was named as a coach for the McDonald’s All-American game, Skylie had career performances. Playing out of position at point guard, she had 28 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists in a win against Phoenix St. Mary’s; 31 points, four rebounds, four steals and four assists in a win against Tempe Marcos de Niza; and 23 points and nine assists in a win against Phoenix Arcadia.

Bella Burcar, Gilbert Perry, Sr.: She had a double-double (20 points, 10 rebounds) in one of the Pumas’ biggest wins of the season, beating Chandler Hamilton 76-61.

Bella Abt, Prescott, Sr.: Recorded 25 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals in a 65-12 win over Kingman Lee Williams, breaking the school record for most career rebounds (1,075).

Maggie Luba, Phoenix Sunnyslope, Sr.: She had 18 points and six rebounds in a 66-28 win over Tempe Corona del Sol and 26 points and 12 rebounds in a 46-45 loss to Phoenix Xavier Prep, surpassing 1,500 career points.

Ava Schooler, Phoenix Sandra Day O’Connor, Jr.: She scored 24 points and had three rebounds in a 78-23 win over Anthem Boulder Creek.

Lily McCracken, Scottsdale Notre Dame Prep, Jr.: The Creighton commit had two double-doubles, totaling 13 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two steals in a win against Chandler Arizona College Prep; and 29 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists and six steals in a win against Scottsdale Desert Mountain.

Kendall Goncharoff, Chandler Valley Christian, Jr.: She had 18 points, shooting four of six from the 3-point line, and eight rebounds in a 72-23 win over Florence.

Audrey Neill, Joseph City, Sr.: In a busy 4-0 week, she averaged 18.5 points, 6.7 steals, 4.5 rebounds and three assists per game in wins over Williams, Seligman, Heber Mogollon and Ash Fork.

Ryah Denhalter, Snowflake, Sr.: She had 19 points, seven steals, six assists and three rebounds in a 59-26 win over Winslow.

Nenah Brown, Scottsdale Rancho Solano, Sr.: She had 15 points, three steals and two assists in a 53-22 win over Camp Verde, hitting 1,000 career points.

Amaris Biancuzzo, Tucson Mica Mountain, Sr.: In a 3-0 week, she had 23 points, 12 rebounds and four steals in a win against San Tan Valley Poston Butte; 19 points, 10 rebounds and four steals in a win against Sahuarita Walden Grove; and 13 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocks in a win against Oro Valley Ironwood Ridge.

Serenity Hampton, Oro Valley Ironwood Ridge, So.: She had 20 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks in a 52-27 loss to Tucson Salpointe Catholic and 16 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in a 52-38 win over Tucson Sahuaro.

Paisy Perkins, Scottsdale Horizon, Sr.: She averaged 14 points, 10.5 rebounds, and three blocks in two wins against Scottsdale Chaparral and Phoenix Mountain Pointe.
