The Tuscaloosa News released its 2026 All-Area baseball first team, second team, honorable mentions and Player and Coach of the Year picks. Now, it’s the fans’ turn to vote.
Hubbertville won its first baseball state championship this season in AHSAA Class 1A, and Southern Academy grabbed an AISA Class A title of its own. American Christian, Bibb County and Gordo fell in the AHSAA state finals, while Northridge and University Charter made it to the semifinals.
Readers can vote for their favorite Tuscaloosa-area baseball pitcher, hitter and coach of the year in the polls below. Voting closes at noon Thursday, June 18.
