These players are from our top 10 rankings of best high school football defensive backs n in the Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson areas. Multiple votes are allowed and the poll will be open until noon on July 30.

John Campbell, St. Joseph's: Campbell missed all of 2025 with injury but had 115 tackles and three interceptions as a sophomore.
Christian Chancellor Jr., Daniel: Chancellor is committed to Clemson. He is ranked as the No. 16 player in the 2027 class.
Zion Dawkins, Gaffney: Dawkins is the state's No. 1 defensive back in the 2028 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He had four interceptions and58 solo tackles in 2025.
Aaron Gilliam, Southside Christian: Gilliam had 78 tackles, two interceptions and two blocked kicks as an all-region player.
Tyvion Hall, Boiling Springs: Hall had four interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown.

Aidyn Wiggins, Byrnes: Wiggins is the state's No. 7 overall prospect for the Class of 2027 and is committed to Auburn.
Jaylon Watson, T.L. Hanna: Watson had four interceptions, including two in the first three games.
Tajeh Watson-Martin, Westside: Watson-Martin is committed to Virginia as a wide receiver but also a standout on defense as the state's No. 17 prospect.
