We've already ranked these players as the top 10 high school running backs in the Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson areas.
Who is the best? Here's a chance to vote for the 2026 Ingles Preseason Top Running Back. Votes are unlimited until the poll closes at noon July 2.
The fans' choice for best quarterback was Mason Evans of Crescent.
Here are the choices for running backs:
Nydarrian Allen, Hillcrest: Allen in a season during which he split carries had 635 yards and five TDs on 107 carries. He has an offer from the Marshall Thundering Herd.
Muntu Brown, Wren: Brown rushed for 1,647 yards and 20 touchdowns in nine games before being injured in his first season at running back.
Aiden Gibson, Woodruff: Gibson committed to Penn State. He is ranked as the No. 4 overall player in the state and the No. 16 running back in the country. Gibson rushed for 1,611 yards, 7.9 per carry, and 21 touchdowns.
Trenton Lynch, Spartanburg: Lynch is committed to Rutgers. He is ranked as the No. 4 running back and No. 22 overall player in the state. Lynch in 2025 rushed for 1,204 yards, 9.3 per carry, and 17 touchdowns.
Michael Martin II, Christ Church: Martin rushed for 1,425 yards and scored 30 touchdowns. He has offers from Duke, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech.

Nick Means, Dorman: Means rushed for 1,450 yards, 7.4 per carry, with 21 touchdowns. Wake Forest is among his college offers.
Calvin McCoy, Greer: McCoy rushed for 1,339 yards and 13 touchdowns. He had three 200-yard games, including 237 yards and three TDs in the playoffs.
Mack Rambo, St. Joseph's: Rambo played only seven games because of injury but rushed for 978 yards, 6.9 per carry, and scored 16 TDs.
Tre Segarra, Byrnes: Segarra committed to LSU. He is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 player in South Carolina and No. 7 running back in the country for the Class of 2027. He ran for 1,460 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2025.
Amire White, Gaffney: White is a transfer from Irmo, where he ran for 1,357 yards with 15 touchdowns and caught 15 passes with another TD in 2025.
