Archbishop Williams softball player Faith Giglio has been voted the South Shore High School Female Athlete of the Week.
Giglio received over 16,000 votes to earn the honor. She hit two home runs, doubled, drove in 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs in the Bishops' 18-7 win over Bishop Fenwick.
And this week's candidates are...
McGraw scored 5 goals for the Blue Eagles in a 12-7 victory over Barnstable.
Thompson went 5-for-5 with a pair of home runs in a 15-3 win over Norwell.
Ondrick hit 2 home runs and had 6 RBIs in a 12-2 win over Notre Dame Academy. She also eclipsed the milestone of 50 career homers.
Adams drove out a 3-run home run in a 12-2 win over Abington.
In a 14-4 win over Framingham, Daley earned the win in the circle, and was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBIs, as the Wildcats clinched a Div. 2 tournament berth.
Maroney totaled 10 points in a marquee 17-14 win over Concord-Carlisle.
Arseneau went 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs in a 15-2 win over Hingham.
The freshman's first career hit was a home run in a 12-7 loss to Cohasset.
Flynn won the 100m hurdles
