The winner of the last Softball Player of the Week poll for the regular season was Bishop Stang’s Sophia Morales. She had more than 2,000 votes (45%) to receive the honor.
Morales went a combined 7-for-11 with 2 walks, a triple, an RBI and 6 runs scored in three games.
Previous winners were Bishop Stang’s Olivia Megna and Mariaelena Thomas, Dartmouth’s Addison Thomas, GNB Voc-Tech’s Leah Perez and Khloe Pereira, New Bedford’s Brylee DeDeus and Old Colony’s Abby Norton.

In the state title game, Bogdan went 1-for-3 with a triple and RBI. In Apponequet’s other four playoff games, she batted .333 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Burnap had 2 doubles, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored, powering the Lakers to a state finals appearance.
DelVecchio had 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored in the postseason. She also went 1-for-3 with a double against Case.
Kelly had 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored on Apponequet’s playoff run.
In the playoffs, Suneson had a double, home run, 2 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
In five playoff games, Taylor pitched 33 innings to power the Lakers to the Div. 3 state final. She allowed a combined 9 runs (6 earned) on 21 hits and 13 walks with 50 strikeouts. On offense, she had 5 RBIs and slugged a double in the title game.
Dubois had 2 hits and 3 RBIs in a win over Lynn Classical in the Div. 2 playoffs.
In two playoff games, Lancaster had a combined 6 hits, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
Pomfret had a combined 13 strikeouts in a pair of playoff games.
Silva was 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored in a playoff win over Lynn Classical.
Thomas had an RBI single to drive in Dartmouth’s only run in a 3-1 loss to East Longmeadow in the Div. 2 playoffs. She also had 2 hits and 3 RBIs against Lynn Classical.

In a playoff win over Tri-County, Peirce threw a complete-game no-hitter with 5 walks and 7 strikeouts and went 2-for-3 at the plate with 2 RBIs.
Zanago drove in 1 of Fairhaven’s 3 runs in a playoff win over Tri-County in the Div. 3 playoffs.
Cooper had a combined 5 hits, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored in three MIAA playoff games.
In a playoff win over Foxboro, Douglas went 4-for-4 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Against Foxboro, Perez was 4-for-4 with 4 runs scored.
Vazquez struck out 11 batters in a loss to Case in the Div. 3 Elite 8. In Voc-Tech’s other two MIAA playoff games, Vazquez had a pair of shutouts, allowing a combined 7 hits and 4 walks with 10 strikeouts. She also delivered at the plate with a combined 5 hits, including a home run, 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
Against Peabody Veterans, DeDeus had a pair of hits.
DiMatteo had 2 hits in a loss to Peabody Veterans.
In a loss to Peabody Veterans, McEvoy pitched a 6-hitter, allowing 10 runs (4 earned) on 2 walks with 7 strikeouts. She also had 2 hits on offense.
Caton was 1-for-3 with a double, stolen base and run scored against Triton Regional.
In a Div. 4 playoff loss to Triton Regional, Robitaille went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
