After another amazing year of high school sports in North Jersey, it's time to look back on the top team performances.

The Boys Team of the Year award will be handed out at the North Jersey High School Sports Awards show on June 26.

The NorthJersey.com staff will select the award winner, but first we want to hear from you. Let us know which team you think should be the North Jersey Boys Team of the Year in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on June 21.

Bergen Catholic basketball​


The Crusaders beat St. Peter's Prep, 56-52 in overtime, to repeat as the Non-Public A state champion. They went 29-3 and did not lose to an in-state opponent.

Bergen Tech fencing​


The Knights went 15-1 and won the state championship with a 14-13 win over Columbia. They beat Don Bosco by the same score in the North sectional final.

DePaul football​


The Spartans beat Paramus Catholic, 21-12, to win their second consecutive Non-Public B state championship and third in four years.

Glen Rock tennis​


After edging Pascack Hills, 3-2, in the sectional final, the Panthers beat Verona and West Deptford by 4-1 scores to secure the Group 1 state championship.

Hackensack indoor track and field​


The Comets beat out North Brunswick, 52-31, for the Group 4 state championship. That marked their fifth title in program history and first since 1999.

Old Tappan baseball​


The Golden Knights wrapped a memorable season with a 5-0 win over Brick Memorial to win the Group 3 state championship. They went 26-4.

Ramapo soccer​


Weeks after winning the Bergen County championship, the Raiders added the eighth state program in program history with a 5-1 win over Middletown South.

Ramsey baseball​


The Rams dethroned two-time champion Governor Livingston, 4-1, to win the Group 2 state title.

Ridgewood baseball​


The Maroons won their third state championship in program history, all since 2019, with a 7-6 win over Kingsway in the Group 4 state final.

Ridgewood lacrosse​


The Maroons won the Group 4 state championship with a 13-8 win over Southern. They took down Westfield in the sectional final, winning both titles for the first time since 2023.

St. Joseph football​


The Green Knights knocked off undefeated Don Bosco, 24-21, in the Non-Public A state championship game to win their first title since 2018.

St. Joseph golf​


The Green Knights won their second consecutive state championship, beating out Delbarton by seven strokes.
