After an exciting start to the spring high school sports postseason, it's time to look back on the top team performances.

Read about the teams that stood out last week and let us know which one should be the HSS North Jersey Team of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Indian Hills softball​

The Braves advanced to the sectional semifinals with two wins last week by a combined 15-2 score.

Northern Highlands boys lacrosse​

The Highlanders advanced to the sectional quarterfinals with a 10-4 win over Tenafly in the first round.

Pompton Lakes softball​

The Braves advanced to the sectional semifinals with two wins last week by a combined 28-6 score.

River Dell girls lacrosse​

The Golden Hawks were the only double-digit seed to advance to the sectional quarterfinals, beating Roxbury 5-3 in a 12-over-5 upset in the first round. It was their first playoff win since 2018.

Waldwick baseball​

The Warriors upset New Milford, 5-1, in the sectional quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals as a No. 7 seed.

Wood-Ridge baseball​

The Blue Devils upset top-seeded Verona, 12-7, in the sectional quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals as a No. 8 seed.
