The Massachusetts high school boys lacrosse season hit halftime.
While we are rounding toward the end of the regular season with power rankings out and the tournament bracket release day in site, there's still plenty to assess from the season so far.
Powerhouse teams have clashed. Players have showed jaw-dropping skills. Programs are raising the bar.
We're parsing the vvents of the seaon's first half and introducing the candidates for the 2026 Daily News Fans Midseason Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year.
The poll will remain open for a week until noon Monay, May 18. Vote below:

Our player of the year stories are meant as a way to highlight local high school athletes in the area. Making the list is an achievement in itself. Congratulations to all our athletes.
