Congratulations to Fishers' Carter Strole on being voted Player of the Week for Weeks 1 and 2! The Central Michigan commit is batted .464 with 11 RBIs, 11 runs scored, five doubles, two home runs and eight stolen bases. On the mound, Strole is 1-2 with a 1.75 ERA and 12 strikeouts over 12 innings.
Here were the top performers from last week.
Cannon batted .571 (4-for-7) with eight runs scored, six RBIs and one stolen base. Cannon had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on four chances at shortstop.
Cunningham batted .444 (4-for-9) with two doubles, three RBIs, three stolen bases and a perfect fielding percentage with six assists and five putouts at shortstop.
Doyle batted .545 (6-for-11) with three RBIs, three runs scored, two doubles and one home run.
The Tennessee commit pitched a one-hit shutout against Columbus North, striking out 10 in six innings. At the plate, Grant went .600 (3 for 5) with three home runs, nine RBIs, four runs scored.
Kidd batted .571 (4-for-7) with three home runs, nine RBIs, one double and three runs scored.
Lewis batted .833 (5-for-6) with two home runs, seven RBIs, three runs scored and zero strikeouts.
Maskel batted .400 (4-for-10) with one home run, six RBIs, six runs scored and seven stolen bases.
The Arizona State commit batted .545 (6-for-11) with four RBIs, five runs scored, one double, one home run and two stolen bases. Meyer has a hit in every game this season.
Matthias batted .571 (4-for-7) with one double, one home run, three RBIs and three runs scored.
Tatum batted .571 (4-for-7) with one home run, two triples, five RBIs, two runs scored and one stolen base. On the mound, Tatum pitched two perfect innings.
The Kentucky commit batted .500 (5-for-10) with five RBIs, six runs scored, two doubles and one home run. On the mound, Smith earned the win against Mt. Vernon, striking out seven over four innings, allowing one unearned run.
