With the 2025-26 high school sports season ongoing, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso's top athletes.

This week, readers can vote for which El Paso Times' El Paso Children's Hospital high school female athlete had the best performance in volleyball and basketball.

Here are this week's nominees:

• Kylie Vega, Eastwood cross country. Vega made the NXR South All-Region team after strong performance last week.
• Emily Orr, Franklin cross country. Vega made the NXR South All-Region team after strong performance last week.
• Allison De La O, Franklin basketball. In win vs. Andress, she scored 19 points.
• Lyanni Ramos, Coronado basketball. In win vs. Del Valle, she scored 20 points.
• Destiny Quintana, Ysleta basketball. In close loss to Irvin, she scored 18 points.
• Natalyn Lechuga, Montwood basketball. In victory vs. Mountain View, she scored 16 points.
• Avah Diaz, Hanks basketball, In win vs. Chapin, shed scored a game best 13 points.
• Karina Ramos-Jurado, Eastlake basketball. In win vs. Canutillo, she scored 19 points.
