With the 2025-26 high school sports season ongoing, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso's top athletes.

This week, readers can vote for which El Paso Times' El Paso Children's Hospital high school girl athlete had the best performance in soccer, basketball, soccer, track and field and softball.

Here are this week's nominees:

• Aria Alvarez, Eastlake track and field. She tool first in the 200 meters at the Del Valle meet and helped team win the 4x2 relay.
• Jaedyn Herrera, Americas basketball. In playoff matchup with Denton Ryan, she made four 3-pointers.
• Brianna Madrid, Americas softball. At Slugfest Tournament, she had a home run and 10 RBI.
• Miley Rodriguez, Americas softball. At Slugfest Tournament, she batted .571 with eight hits and nine RBI.
• Amy Acevedo, Bowie soccer. In win vs. Austin, she scored the winning goal.
• Celina Saucedo, Eastwood softball. In win vs. Canutillo, she was the winning pitcher and had two hits and two RBI.
• Claire Hurtado, El Paso High soccer. In two wins last week, she scored a goal and had four assists.
• Bella Sanchez, Montwood softball. In win vs. Chapin, she was the winning pitcher and drove in five runs.
• Nadia Soto, Pebble Hills soccer. She scored the game-winning goal in 3-2 victory vs. Eastwood to help the team secure a playoff berth in Class 6A.
