There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted as the Clarion Ledger athlete of the week for March 9-14.

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Lucy Cochran, East Union: Cochran pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts in East Union's 4-0 win against Booneville.

Addison Collum, West Union: Collum had nine hits and seven RBIs while pitching 11 innings and recording 15 strikeouts in West Union's four games played.

Addison Davis, George County: Davis recorded 12 strikeouts during George County's 8-1 win against Brandon.

Lucy Gaffney, DeSoto Central: Gaffney produced five strikeouts and allowed two hits and no runs in DeSoto Central's 1-0 against Ocean Springs.

Grady Beck Wilson, South Panola: Wilson had 11 strikeouts with three hits and no earned runs in South Panola's 3-0 win against Ocean Springs.
