You can vote for the high school athlete of the week until 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20. You don't have to be a subscriber to vote.

Marinette state track and field champion Mason Hofherr was last week’s winner, receiving 8,176 votes.

He is the second Marinette athlete to be named player of the week in the history of the poll. He joins baseball player Cooper Smith, who won in May 2025.

Coleman three-sport star Kolton Peters was runner-up with 5,335 votes, while Pulaski’s Keaton Dauk had 2,759 votes, Oconto Falls’ Brady Bursa 2,554 and Green Bay Notre Dame’s Teya Bordini 1,027.

Serene Adamski, Green Bay Notre Dame soccer​


The freshman forward scored two goals in a 6-2 win over Winneconne in a WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal.

Adamski, who was named the athlete of the week at the beginning of the spring season, led the Fox River Classic Conference in goals (32) and points (73).

Kara Barber, Pulaski soccer​


The sophomore midfielder scored a goal in a 2-1 upset over Cedarburg in a D2 sectional semifinal.

She finished the season with seven goals and 17 points.

Tommy Berg, Bay Port baseball​


The senior hit a game-winning single to center to give the Pirates a 3-2 comeback win over West De Pere in a D1 sectional semifinal.

He had a walk in the championship game loss to Kaukauna.

Teya Bordini, Green Bay Notre Dame soccer​


Bordini is on the list for the second straight week. The senior midfielder had one goal and three assists against Winneconne.

She set the single-season school record with 29 assists in the win, which is the most in the state.

Leah Grygiel, Pulaski soccer​


The senior forward scored a goal off an assist from Estella Vieaux in the 2-1 win over Cedarburg.

She ranked second on the Red Raiders with 18 points and was tied for second with seven goals.

Carson Hawley, Bay Port baseball​


Went 3-for-3 with a home run, triple, one RBI and one run against West De Pere and 2-for-3 with one run against Kaukauna.

Charlee King, Green Bay Notre Dame soccer​


The one-time athlete of the week winner and a first-team all-conference selection in the FRCC scored two goals against Winneconne, finishing her senior season with a career-high 13 goals and 34 points.

Tatum Wentland, Pulaski soccer​


The sophomore goalie made 18 saves against Cedarburg, holding the Bulldogs to one or zero goals for the second time in 2026 after making four saves in a scoreless tie to start the season in April.

Logan Wierzba, West De Pere baseball​


The Phantoms’ ace and Iowa Western commit had his prep career end with the loss to Bay Port, but his final game was impressive.

The left-hander allowed one run, five hits and no walks in six innings while striking out 13.

Wierzba also had two hits at the plate.

He went 7-2 with a 1.29 ERA this season, striking out 90 in 54⅓ innings.
