We start each week of the season with a quick look back to spotlight the standout performances of the previous week. The process begins with coaches sending in nominations for the lohud Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week. I'll narrow the field each Monday and list the finalists. You'll vote and vote and vote and the winner gets five minutes of fame on our social media accounts.
The poll closes at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 29.
Previous winners: Aiden Kinsley, Kennedy Catholic; Logan Idi, Ossining; Jackson Rosenfeld, Ardsley.
The sophomore attackman got four goals and three assists in a 14-4 win over Fox Lane, six goals and one assist in an 11-10 win over Somers and two goals in a 14-3 loss to Rye.
The junior attackman finished with five goals and two assists in a 5-2 win over Rye Neck and two goals and three assists in a 15-3 win over Briarcliff/Croton.
The junior attackman collected three goals, two assists and seven ground balls in a 12-7 win over Brewster and six goals, three assists and five ground balls in a 19-6 victory over Haldane.
The senior attackman had two goals and one assist in a 12-11 overtime loss to Harrison and six goals and four assists in a 17-6 win over Suffern.
The senior midfielder delivered four goals in a 7-6 win over New Rochelle then followed with three goals and one assist in a 9-2 win over North Salem.
The junior attackman piled up eight goals and 10 assists in a 19-4 win over Cardinal Hayes. He added three goals and one assist in a 10-7 win over Cheshire, Connecticut and two goals and one assist in an 8-6 loss against Marcellus.
The senior goalie became the program's all-time saves leader in a 9-3 win over John Jay, stopping 11 shots and breaking a record that stood for 46 years. He also made six saves on six shots before taking a seat in a 15-4 win over Harrison.
The sophomore attackman had three goals and two assists in a 14-7 win over Pelham and four goals and one assist in a 14-3 win over Greeley.
The junior attackman wound up with five goals and four assists in a 13-4 win over Albertus Magnus and three goals and five assists in a 15-2 win over Hastings.
The senior midfielder put three goals and two assists in the scorebook during an 18-6 win over Bronxville and has 20 points on the season.
The sophomore midfielder delivered three goals and two assists in an 18-5 win over Haldane, six goals and four assists in a 16-4 win over Irvington and five goals and one assist in a 13-11 win over Blind Brook.
