New York Giants fans, take a deep breath and allow yourselves a moment. Those short videos from the first day of training camp at The Greenbrier are pure fuel for the imagination.
Malik Nabers and Odell Beckham Jr. working side-by-side in individual drills, flying off the line, cutting with purpose, and hauling in passes under that West Virginia sun felt like a scene fans have been waiting years to see.
Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic captured the two of them moving in near-unison, while Paul Schwartz of the New York Post offered another angle of the same electric work.
Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com and USA TODAY said it best with a simple, perfect post: “It’s OK to dream, Giants fans.”
And dream they are.
Nabers, still climbing back from the ACL and meniscus surgery that cut short his 2025 season, was out there fully and free of the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Beckham, 33 and back on the field after a year away from football, looked sharp and hungry.
Two LSU products, one rising star and one proven playmaker, sharing the same field and the same energy. Both have long ranked among the league’s best against press coverage, and the eye test on Day 1 only fed the excitement.
For a fan base that has waited through lean years, the sight of Nabers and Beckham operating together is the kind of early-camp image that sparks real hope. Pair them with quarterback Jaxson Dart and the possibilities start to feel tangible.
The coaches will stay measured, as they should. But for one bright afternoon in West Virginia, it was more than okay to dream. It felt necessary.
