Kind of reminds me of going into Carolina in the playoffs....and we all know how that turned out.

This team isn't the same as last years team, it's better.

It has flaws but it has strengths too.

I agree, you never know but that's why we all watch because we just never know.

The only times we could be absolutely certain was when we were absolutely horrible and even then they'd suprise you sometimes, just not usually in good ways.

They lost to PITT and they needed a missed FG at the gun to beat BAL and a Hail Mary to beat SF. None of those teams have been anything special this season.

Well to be fair only about 4 teams have been special this season and the Vikings based on record are one of those 4. Heck we won 5 of 6 and didn't beat anybody who was anything special but I ain't giving those 5 wins back.

Look on the bright side, instead of facing the best RB in the NFL we *only* have to face the second best! On the brutal side, Jared Allen vs anyone on our OL will be nasty. They better have a TE lined up giving our OT's some help. You put Allen on an island with Gandy or Levi on a consistent basis and you're asking for a disaster.

Anyways, if Kurt starts I have some faith. I think our offense will be alright barring #13 playing, it's going to be on our defenses shoulders to not let Favre and Peterson completely destroy us.

If he's ready to play he should play, you can't pick and choose what weeks to play your starting QB unless he's not healthy.

I also think their pass defense is being overlooked here, Flacco had nearly 400 yards against them, if Kurt can play we have a chance to go after their pass defense I think.

They're very good but they're not too unbeatable if we play well.

The Vikings are beatable, especially if Winfield can't go. I like our chances if Kurt and Karlos are able to go. But it will take a good game from the defense.

I don't care if the Cardinals are playing someone who's just destroyed three teams in a row, if you're healthy you play, if not you don't, it aint about picking and choosing based on some odd formula you seem to know about.
??? They sat him because they didn't want to take any chances with his health because of the post concussion symptoms. Some on this board said before Sunday that the Cardinals should play it safe and sit him at least yesterday and just not take any chances.

You just never know with a concussion so sitting him another week would just be an extension of what they've already done and it's worrisome that he tested and practiced all week just fine and still came up with symptoms a week later. They thought he was healthy on Saturday and the symptoms popped up on Sunday. What if this week he's supposedly healthy and the symptoms pop up on Monday? What if Warner just lies this time and says he's okay?

I think he's going to be hit hard and often vs. the Vikings. Is it worth it to bring him back a game too soon vs. a game too late? Look at Westbrook. Every time they thought he was ready he came back and got worse.

I think we all agree it's going to take a minor miracle to beat the Vikings. Why not make sure Warner is as healthy as possible going into the SF game, get Leinart some experience under fire vs. Minnesota and have a built-in excuse since they might be without Dansby and Warner in this scenario. I'm very concerned about a 3 game skid and if Warner gets his marbles shook up against Minnesota then there's no way he plays vs. SF. If Leinart starts, regardless of what happens, a lot healthier Warner is ready to come back in the game that REALLY has to be won by the Cardinals.

Maybe having this week off will put him at a totally safe place vs. Minnesota but I can certainly see the logic in giving him another week off and just finishing the last quarter of the season as healthy as possible. It would be nice to beat Minnesota but not at the expense of Warner missing any time vs. the last 4 opponents. If the Cardinals go 4-0 to finish the season, they are in the playoffs. That's what I'm looking at right now.
