May 15— The Hayfield baseball team put together some late inning heroics to beat Fillmore Central (3-15 overall) 6-5 on the road Friday.

Ben Nelson gave Hayfield (13-8 overall) the lead for good when he drove in a run with a seventh inning single.

Hayfield' Kael Steele had a two-run homer and he pitched a perfect bottom of the seventh inning for the save.
