The full list of comp picks for the 2026 NFL Draft has been released, and while the quantity isn't high, the quality sure is for the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings were awarded the 97th overall selection in the draft, meaning they now have four picks in the top 100 selections and nine picks in total.
For a roster that went through a decent overhaul on the defensive side of the ball, adding another day two pick will be huge.
The Vikings let go of Harrison Smith, Jonathan Allen, and Javon Hargrave, leaving the defense thin on the interior of the defensive line and lacking a starting safety. With the potential departure of Jonathan Greenard via trade, they will also be missing a pivotal EDGE rusher.
However, they will likely get a second-round pick, or even a late first, which will help cushion that blow. It's clear that Minnesota will likely lean toward defense in a defensive-heavy draft class.
