The Minnesota Vikings have added a three-time Pro Bowler to the roster.
Jamal Adams signed with the Vikes overnight Monday into Tuesday, according to ESPN.
Adams also posted the news in his own way on social media:
Adams comes to the Vikings after spending last season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
His addition raises a couple of immediate questions in Minnesota.

Is Jamal Adams still good?
Adams is far from the player he once was, in part because of continued injury issues that have accelerated his decline.
Last season, he did appear in all 17 games with the Raiders, and he had 45 tackles with a sack and a forced fumble.
Adams is no longer the game-changing safety he was earlier in his career. The hope would be that he can be a versatile player and a potential veteran leader.
Does this mean Harrison Smith is retiring?
The Vikings still don't know whether their legendary safety is retiring, but this move isn't really a signal.
Adams actually plays linebacker now -- every one of his snaps for the Raiders in 2025 was as an LB, according to ESPN.
If Smith retires, that could impact how the Vikings utilize Adams, but this is likely a signing independent of what's happening on the Smith front.
