San Antonio Spurs superstar forward Victor Wembanyama elbowed Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein in the face, and Thunder coach Mark Daigneault indirectly got the worst call for it.
During the first half of Saturday night's Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals in OKC, Wemby got Hartenstein in the face with his elbow, which led to an offensive foul. However, it wasn't upgraded to a Flagrant 1.
Daigneault protesting the refs not calling a Flagrant 1 foul on Wemby earned him the more severe call between the two. It was clearly a Flagrant 1, and we get why Daigneault was furious. However, it's just cruel irony he got the tech.
You lose some... you lose some.
