Victor Wembanyama has all the talent in the world. The San Antonio Spurs star is learning why that may not be enough in his first NBA Finals.

At halftime of Game 2, Charles Barkley attempted to peek into the psyche of Wembanyama with his Inside the NBA crew. Barkley explained that Wembanyama is taking one on the chin for the first time in a long time, and the New York Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns is capitalizing on his inexperience.

"Wemby's in shock right now," Barkley said. "It's probably been a long time since he got his (expletive) kicked like this... Wemby's spinning... He's 22. He's gonna own the league soon. But right now, big KAT is just taking his (expletive) to the woodshed. Plain and simple."

Towns has outplayed Wembanyama and is moving with confidence we aren't seeing from the Frenchman right now. One brutal mistake exemplifies this.

With the game tied and less than 10 seconds remaining, Wembanyama grabbed a rebound over Towns and promptly passed it to Stephon Castle. The only problem is Castle wasn't looking, so Jalen Brunson stepped in for the steal and a back-breaking trip to the free throw line. The Knicks wound up winning by one.

It's hard to argue against Barkley's Wembanyama assertion at this point. Wemby can flip the script by stealing Game 3 on the road Monday.
