Vanderbilt women's basketball has added transfer wing Vee Atamah, the 2026 Southland Conference Player of the Year at Northwestern State, the program announced on social media.

Atamah in the 2025-26 season started 32 games, averaging 19.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. She shot 40.9% from the field and 39.4% from three as well as 74% on free throws.

At 6-foot, Atamah adds some size to the perimeter. The Commodores did not previously have a true wing on the roster, though 5-star freshman Olivia Jones could play the position. Atamah could help fill the role vacated by Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda.

Atamah is the second transfer added by Vanderbilt this offseason, joined by Mia Woolfolk, a forward from Georgia. The Commodores saw two players transfer out, Ava Black to Penn State and Aga Makurat to Florida State. Both players were wings, emphasizing the need at that position.

Vanderbilt currently has 12 players on its 2026-27 roster and has three open spots remaining.
