University of Wisconsin-River Falls behemoth offensive lineman DJ Fox, who played high school football at Union Grove, is moving up to the FBS level after playing a big role in the Falcons' NCAA Division III national championship.

The 6-foot-9, 320-pounder was a fourth-team All-American tackle for River Falls, as selected by D3football.com, and now moves up to James Madison, a program that just appeared in the College Football Playoff after winning the Sun Belt Conference.

Fox, a junior, has two seasons of eligibility left.

River Falls football went on a magical run to win its first NCAA Division III title despite very little track record of success in the postseason. The Falcons upset North Central (Illinois) in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl, 24-14.

Other key contributors from River Falls also entered the portal, including running back Jaylen Reed and wide receiver Blake Rohrer, whose 79-yard touchdown catch and run with 45 seconds left gave River Falls the edge in a semifinal win over Johns Hopkins.
