The execution was solid, the result was historic for Chris Francoeur at the Korn Ferry Tour's Utah Championship on Friday.
Francoeur, who ranked 120th on the KFT Points List entering the week at Ogden Golf & Country Club, carded the first 59 of the tour's 2026 season during his second round where he at one point chased 58.
With four straight pars to finish his round, Francoeur became just the 16th player in Korn Ferry Tour history to shoot 59
It's the third time in eight days where a player has recorded a 59 at a PGA Tour-sanctioned circuit.
