The Oklahoma City Thunder have clinched the first seed. Not surprising considering they've held a double-digit game lead in the standings for most of the season.

The Thunder swept their four-game season series against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday. It was in a similar fashion with a blowout win thanks to a fourth-quarter avalanche.

Less than a month remains in the 2024-25 regular season. Even though the Thunder aren't involved, plenty of heated races for seeding have ramped up as the margin for error gets thinner. Thunder Wire will conduct daily updates on the West's standings until the season ends:

What happened last night?

Mavericks 101, Magic 92: The Mavericks remain undefeated with Anthony Davis. Granted, it's just a three-game sample size, but he changes how they look. He had 15 points and seven rebounds and limited the Magic where everybody sans Paolo Banchero struggled.

Bulls 119, Lakers 117: This one was a heartbreaker. In one of the biggest collapses ever, the Lakers blew a five-point lead in 12 seconds. Patrick Williams made a 3-pointer. LeBron James then lazily turned it over on the inbound pass and Coby White hit another 3-pointer. Down by one point, Josh Giddey only needed three seconds to nail a halfcourt game-winner that stunned Los Angeles. This one absolutely hurts and will have a ripple effect.

Thunder 125, Grizzlies 104: After a back-and-forth affair in the first three quarters, the Thunder went on a 17-0 run in the fourth frame to put this one away. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored an efficient 37 points and OKC completed a four-game season series sweep over Memphis with all four being blowouts.

Rockets 121, Jazz 110: The Rockets did just enough to hold off against the Jazz. Alperen Sengun had 33 points and 10 rebounds. Houston has benefited from an easy schedule over the last two weeks against some of the NBA's worst teams.

Kings 128, Trail Blazers 107: The Kings picked up a much-needed win. Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine each scored 20-plus points. Sacramento hopes to keep pace for the play-in tournament and go from there.
