The 2026 World Baseball Classic is winding down after a thrilling run through the knockout rounds. On Sunday, March 15, the semifinals get underway at loanDepot park in Miami, Florida.
In the first semifinal, the United States takes the field after holding off Canada to take on the Dominican Republic and its powerful batting lineup. Paul Skenes will take the mound for Team USA, which sets up a thrilling matchup.

The semifinals will wrap up on Monday, March 16, when Venezuela and Italy look to continue their magical runs. Venezuela knocked off Japan in the quarterfinal, while Italy held off Puerto Rico to remain undefeated throughout the tournament.
