The North Carolina Tar Heels finished the college baseball regular season ranked No. 2 in the major polls after an impressive showing. Although they fell short in claiming another ACC Tournament title, losing to Georgia Tech, the Tar Heels are still playing some really good baseball.

Now, they hope to carry that into the postseason.

On Sunday, it became official as Chapel Hill was officially named a regional site host ahead of Monday's bracket reveal.
