I know it sounds gross, but as the human biome becomes more of an emphasis in medicine, expect to see this more and more. I am reading how different diseases, weight loss, etc, can be reduced with this technology. Most of what I am reading is it jump starts what you need to cure, but you must follow up with the correct nutrition, etc, to keep the effects going permanently. One of our family members had this from her sister and allowed her to gain much needed weight and muscle. She is not obese, but was definitely below weight. She ended up gaining enough weight to get pregnant and have a kid!
