WASHINGTON, D.C. - Alex Pereira got another look at Ciryl Gane on Friday before their UFC Freedom 250 interim title fight.
Former light heavyweight and middleweight titleholder Pereira (13-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) will move up in weight once again and chase history against Gane (13-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in Sunday's co-headliner at the White House (Paramount+).
Pereira can become the first to wear some version of a UFC belt in three different weight classes, while Gane can join Justin Gaethje as the only people with two interim title reigns.
Both men have remained calm and confident leading up to the matchup, and they were stoic again as they got face-to-face at an iconic Lincoln Memorial setting.
