Juliana Miller turned to the wrestling after taking a stinging shot from Ravena Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 284, and it was dominance from there en route to the finish.
Miller (5-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) got a much needed win in the women's flyweight bout on Saturday at Meta APEX in las Vegas when he found her way to the back of Oliveira (7-5-1 MMA, 0-4 UFC) and locked in a rear-naked choke to force the tap at the 1:38 mark of Round 2.

Despite it being a significant moment for her career, Miller's first attention post-fight was to put focus on the Spokane fires in her home state of Washington and pleading for donations.
"Right now Spokane is on a fire," Miller said in her post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier. "For the millions of you watching at home, please. If there's anything you can do."
After that, Miller acknowledged that she needed this win, and Oliveira wouldn't stop her from it.
"We were fighting for our jobs," Miller said. "I just decided I don't a f*ck what you do, I'm taking you down and choking your ass out."
