Rei Tsuruya rebounded in impressive fashion at UFC Fight Night 277.

Tsuruya (11-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) slammed Luis Gurule (11-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) to the ground and cinched in the rear-naked choke at the 3:19 mark of Round 1 on Saturday's prelims at UFC Fight Night 277 at Galaxy Macau in China.

Tsuruya, 23, bounced back from his unanimous decision loss to current flyweight champion Joshua Van at UFC 313 – his lone career setback.
