Two fighters missed weight and one fighter collapsed in a scary sight at Friday's official weigh-ins for UFC 324.

Former two-time UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo was Friday's most notable offender, as the Brazilian tipped the scales at 138.5 pounds — 2.5 pounds over the bantamweight non-title limit for his undercard contest against Umar Nurmagomedov (136). Figueiredo's former opponent, longtime flyweight contender Alex Perez (128.5), did similarly, weighing in 2.5 pounds above the flyweight non-title limit for his undercard bout against Charles Johnson (126).

As a result, both Figueiredo and Perez were fined 25% of their purses and their bouts will proceed forward as scheduled.

Yet the morning's most jarring scene came from bantamweight prospect Cameron Smotherman, who collapsed just moments after weighing in at 135.5 pounds for his scheduled prelims bout against Ricky Turcios.

Smotherman's fight was immediately cancelled and the 28-year-old American was swiftly transported to the hospital.

There was much less drama on the main card, as lightweight headliners Justin Gaethje (155) and Paddy Pimblett (154) both successfully made weight for their interim championship bout.

Gaethje vs. Pimblett serves as the main event for UFC's much-anticipated debut show on Paramount, kicking off a seven-year, $7.7 billion broadcast deal that marks a new era for the MMA leader.

UFC 324 takes place Saturday at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.
