As he prepares for his senior season at UCLA, Bruin basketball star Eric Dailey Jr. has been competing with the USA 3×3 Men’s Nations League team. Alongside five other collegiate players, Dailey Jr. led the team to a perfect 18-0 record over the week-long 3×3 Nations League Americas North tournament in Ñuñoa, Chile.
Team USA has now officially clinched a spot in the 2026 FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup, which takes place from Sept. 15-19 in Wuhan, China.
Dailey Jr. was one of six players on the team, playing alongside Hank Alvey, CJ Gunn, Kevair Kennedy, Pace Prosser and Brady Swartz. This was the first time Dailey Jr. played 3-on-3 for USA Basketball in four years.

Dailey Jr. previously competed in the 2021 and 2022 FIBA U18 Men’s World Cups. He won a gold medal at the 2021 World Cups and the 2022 FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup. Additionally, Dailey Jr. played in the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit and 2023 FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup.
After transferring to UCLA from Oklahoma State ahead of his sophomore season, Dailey Jr. has started in all 68 games he has played for the Bruins in the last two seasons.
The 6-foot-8 guard will return to Westwood for the final season of his collegiate career and will remain a crucial piece of UCLA’s starting lineup.
Across two seasons at UCLA, Dailey Jr. has averaged 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds. His veteran experience will be valuable for the Bruins as they look to make a deeper run in the NCAA Tournament in March.
