Four-star safety Myles Baker appeared set to play his college football in the northern part of California, but will instead be taking his talents to Los Angeles.
The class of 2027 defensive back flipped his commitment from Cal to UCLA after having committed to the Golden Bears in March.
There were some rumblings that Baker would back out of his commitment to Cal, but it seemed like LSU was the hottest program on the trail for the safety.
Baker eventually cancelled his trip to LSU, which seemed to open the door for UCLA to secure the highly regarded defensive prospect.
Interestingly, Cal and UCLA will face one another in their first game of the 2026 season.
