No. 1 UCLA baseball has not shown any signs of slowing down their dominant 2026 season. And now, the Bruins have won the Big Ten regular season title after sweeping Michigan State in a series over the weekend.
Sweeping Michigan State secured a share of the Big Ten regular season title for the Bruins. But then, when Washington defeated No. 13 Oregon on Sunday, UCLA was named the outright Big Ten regular season champions.
UCLA holds a perfect 24-0 record in conference play and a 43-4 record overall this season.
The Bruins’ last loss against a Big Ten opponent was nearly a year ago when UCLA lost to Nebraska 5-0 in the Big Ten Tournament championship game on May 25, 2025. UCLA’s most recent regular season loss against a Big Ten opponent was on May 17, 2025 against Northwestern.
This season, UCLA set a Big Ten record for consecutive conference wins in a season (21) and held the second-longest streak all-time for conference wins with 26 straight victories. Illinois holds the Big Ten record for longest winning streak with 27 wins across 1909-1911.
Since joining the Big Ten last season, the Bruins won at least a share of the Big Ten title. Last season, UCLA shared the regular season conference title with Oregon.

UCLA has two more regular season series against Oregon and Washington remaining before the Big Ten Tournament. By winning the regular season title, the Bruins will earn the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
