It was a brutal first day of the 2025 season for just about every Miami Dolphins player and wide receiver Tyreek Hill was no exception.

Hill finished with only four receptions for 40 yards, which was actually enough to lead the Dolphins in both categories. During the second quarter of Miami's blowout loss, the 31-year-old receiver was seen vocalizing his frustrations on the sideline.

After the game, Hill perfectly summed up the Dolphins' performance with an unfiltered quote:

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill: “This was a big kick in the balls for us.”

Frustration on the sideline from players is to be expected, especially during a blowout loss. But Hill's reactions to the Dolphins' struggles will be under the microscope, especially if the team can't make corrections soon.

Last season, Hill removed himself from the Dolphins' Week 18 game and suggested he was ready to play elsewhere. His reasoning at the time was that the Dolphins weren't a contender.

"This is the first time I haven't been in the playoffs," Hill told reporters in January. "I just gotta do what's best for me and my family. If that's here or wherever the case may be, I'm gonna open that door for myself. I'm opening the door. I'm out, bro."

The Dolphins sure didn't look like a team ready to help Hill make his return to the playoffs this year either. And that could spell more drama if the receiver's frustrations boil over.
