The 1-11 Tennessee Titans will travel to Cleveland to take on the 3-9 Browns as 3.5-point underdogs in a game with a 33.5-point over/under. Neither team has much to play for and with such a low over/under, we can’t expect a many startable fantasy players.
One player who has startable tendencies is running back Tyjae Spears. He has the ability to be a useful fantasy player, but his touches remain inconsistent behind Tony Pollard. Spears often plays more snaps than Pollard, but that’s after the team gets behind and they’re no longer running the ball. Thise spots have allowed more receiving work, but it’s still tough for him to be consistent.
Below, we’ll go over Tyjae Spears’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 14.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans, RB, Tyjae Spears
Over the last three games, Spears has caught 5, 5, and 6 passes. That’s a strong base in PPR, but he’s also seen a drop in rushing attempts, which has pushed him to just 9, 8, and 8 total touches in those games. I do think the receptions will be there, giving him a boost in PPR, but the matchup with the Browns is tough. I could see the Titans getting totally bogged down in this game, leaving very little room for Spears to get close to his upside.
