Two Lady Vols earn 2026 All-SEC basketball honors

Two Tennessee women's basketball players received All-SEC honors from the league's coaches when the postseason awards were announced on Tuesday.

Talaysia Cooper and Mia Pauldo earned SEC honors.

Cooper, a redshirt junior guard, was named All-SEC Second-Team for a second consecutive season, while Pauldo was named to the conference's all-freshman team.

Cooper, who appeared in 27 regular-season games, is the Lady Vols' leading scorer, averaging 16.1 points per game. She also averages 4.8 rebounds, a team-high 3.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game. Cooper leads Tennessee in made three-point attempts (57), assists (100) and steals (73) this season.

She has scored 10-plus points in 24 games this season. Cooper scored 15 or more points in 17 contests and 20-plus points on six occasions this season. She has also posted four double-doubles entering the SEC Tournament.

Pauldo, a guard, has appeared in 25 games this season and made 25 starts. She averages 10.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Pauldo also leads the Lady Vols in free throw percentage (.855) and is second on the team for assists (59) and steals (29). She is the first Tennessee player to be selected to the SEC All-Freshman Team since Sara Puckett in 2022.
