The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks faced off in Super Bowl 60 on Saturday night, a rematch from 11 seasons ago when New England won in a shocking finish.

This year's matchup features a trio of former Tar Heels: Drake Maye, Mack Hollins and Chazz Surratt. Maye, the Patriots' quarterback, finished second in MVP voting to Matthew Stafford. Hollins is a New England wide receiver, while Surratt is primarily a special teams linebacker for Seattle.

The Seahawks dominated most of Super Bowl 60 – until early in the fourth quarter. Just 2:33 into the final frame, Maye connected with Hollins on a 35-yard touchdown pass, closing the Patriots' gap to 19-7.

Seattle won the Super Bowl, 29-13, getting revenge from a devastating finish back in 2015.

Maye, whom Seattle sacked six times previously in the Big Game, finally got enough time to deliver a beautiful throw. Hollins made a great play, held onto the football and gave New England fans a sigh of relief.

UNC fans also tuned into this game to watch Maye specifically, hoping the second year signal-caller could deliver a massive win.

Hollins enjoyed arguably the best regular season of his 9-year NFL career, catching 46 passes for 550 yards and two touchdowns. In the postseason, Hollins had just two catches for 51 yards coming into Super Bowl 60, but delivered his greatest moment on the greatest stage in professional football, leading the Patriots with 78 yards on four catches.

Maye's regular season is an all-timer to remember: 4,394 passing yards, 31 touchdowns and a 77.1% completion percentage. The postseason wasn't as kind to him, though, with a subpar Super Bowl performance – including six sacks and three turnovers, including a fumble returned by Seattle for a late, fourth-quarter score.
