TUPELO — The Tupelo Lady Tigers continued their hot start to the 2026 slowpitch season by surging past Allen 12-3 in a matchup between the two local teams Tuesday night.
Tupelo, under the direction of coach Dustin Ybarra, won its sixth consecutive game to improve to 7-1. It was the season-opener for Allen.

Tupelo piled up 16 total hits, led by Lainee Wafford and Everly Airington, who collected three hits each. Wafford went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored. Airington finished 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs.
Keira Miller went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and Liz Sliger finished 1-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Abbagale Whaley also hit a double for the Lady Tigers.
Ayla Manuel and Sophia Shires had two hits apiece for Allen. Manuel hit a double and Shires scored twice.
Lady Pirates edge Antlers in eighth
BYNG — The Byng Lady Pirates scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings and then scored the game-winner in the bottom of the night to edge Antlers 8-7 in a Tuesday night home game.
It was the season-opener for Byng, while Antlers fell to 3-3.

Byng trailed 7-6 before Sophia Smith delivered a two-out, RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.
The Lady Pirates used another two-out rally in the bottom of the eighth.
Emma Presley drew a two-out walk, and she scored all the way from first on a double by Piper Presley.
Marley Parker led a Byng 13-hit attack, going 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a triple, two RBIs, a walk and two runs scored.
Pepper Presley, Emma Presley, Riley Colbert and Smith all had two hits each. Pepper Presley clubbed two doubles and Colbert scored two runs.
Konawa clips Antlers at Byng
BYNG — The Konawa Lady Tigers erupted for nine runs in the top of the fourth inning and held off Antlers 13-11 Tuesday at the Byng Festival.
Konawa evened its record at 2-2.

Jayden Coats ripped a grand slam during Konawa’s fourth-inning surge. She finished 2-for-5 with four RBIs.
Kassidi Lowden went 3-for-5 and Bliss Henson finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Brailee Miller, Bridgett Arms and Carleigh Roberts also hit doubles for the Lady Tigers.
Asher holds off Roff, 4-3
ASHER — The Roff Lady Tigers out-hit Asher 12-3 but couldn’t overcome six errors in a tough 4-3 loss to the Lady Indians on the road Tuesday night.
Coach Missy Rogers’ squad fell to 1-2 with the early-season loss, while Asher improved to 2-0.

Roff trailed 4-1 after three innings before pushing across a pair of runs in the top of the fifth, but the rally fell short.
Shannon Ensey paced Roff at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and a run scored. Mallori Rogers also had three hits for the visitors.
Mackenzie Thompson led Asher, going 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored. Kailey Trump went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored.
Roff ended up stranding nine base runners in the contest.
Stonewall snags
third win of spring
STONEWALL — The Stonewall Lady Longhorns blanked Milburn 10-0 in the first game of their own festival Tuesday night.
Stonewall then handed Earlsboro a 10-7 loss to stay unbeaten at 3-0.
“It’s been a minute since we started 3-0. We still have lots of things we need to work on and get better at, but I think we have a few more pieces to the puzzle than we’ve had in the past,” Stonewall coach Brian Davis told The Ada News.

Stonewall scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull away.
Landree Dye led a 13-hit Stonewall offense, going 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Jaylee Grace ripped an inside-the-park home run in the bottom of the first inning to give the hosts an early 2-0 lead. She finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Bonnie Gillis went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored and Maddie Davis went 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs.
Stonewall 10, Earlsboro 7
Stonewall trailed 4-3 before scoring six unanswered runs to surge ahead.
Leadoff hitter Carsyn Lovelis led the way for the Lady Longhorns, finishing 4-for-4 with a triple, a double, three RBIs and a run scored. Mea Cortez went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Maddie Davis clubbed a triple and drove in a run.
Mariyah Reeves and Josie Dobbs added two hits each for Stonewall.
Peighton Worley went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Lady Wildcats.
Stratford trips Wynnewood in eighth
WYNNEWOOD — The Stratford Lady Bulldogs scored twice in the top of the eighth inning and slipped past host Wynnewood 3-1 Tuesday night.
Stratford improved to 2-0 heading into next week’s Rattan Festival, while Wynnewood fell to 1-1.

Senior Lexi Thomas knocked in the game-winning run with an RBI single and Payton Smith later scored on a ground ball to the shortstop by Callie Sandlin.
Payton Smith and Thomas had two hits each to pace Stratford at the plate. The Lady Bulldogs overcome four errors.
