  • Fun fact about the new punter, Hunter Green: his dad was a walk-on under Don James. After the atrocious punting in the first two seasons of the Fisch era, he seems like a massive upgrade. There will be more games like the Wisconsin game in the B1G for Washington, where where the offense can’t move and field position wins the day. A punter like Green can be the difference in an ugly game like that.

  • Speaking of punting, there’s a new set of rules around formations and player numbering coming to college football punt formations this season:
