President Donald Trump honored four Denison University athletic teams July 21 at the White House.
Trump congratulated members of the four teams for their Division III Championship wins during the 2025-26 academic year.
The White House posted a video on its Instagram story and reposted a video to X, which has since circulated on social media.
Denison University, a school of 2,400 students in Granville, had four national championships this year.
Both Denison women's basketball and Denison men's swim team won NCAA Division III championships on the same day in March. The women's basketball team won its Division III championship title with a 55-41 win over the University of Scranton. The men's swimming and diving team won with 437 points over a four-day NCAA championship event.
The Denison baseball team won against Endicott 4-3 in 10 innings on June 4 to secure its NCAA Division III College World Series Win.
The win from baseball team made Denison the first Division III program in Ohio to win three NCAA team titles in three sports in the same academic year.
Aside from the team championships, the Denison men's tennis doubles pair Ethan Green and Kael Shah also won an NCAA title in May.
Not all students from each team attended the White House event.
