The Oklahoma Sooners were aggressive in the transfer portal, looking to upgrade a roster that was good enough to reach the College Football Playoff but fell short largely due to an inconsistent offense. Jim Nagy and Brent Venables went into the portal and made moves to give offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle and quarterback John Mateer more to work with.

The Sooners added immediate impact players in E'Marion Harris, Trell Harris, and Parker Livingstone to the offense, and all three players ranked among CBS Sports' top 100 transfer portal players.

E'Marion Harris, the former Arkansas offensive tackle, came in at No. 61. With 24 starts to his ledger over the last two years, Harris can step in at right tackle for the Sooners. That provides the Sooners some significant experience for an offensive line that played three freshmen significant snaps in 2025.

Trell Harris was one of three transfer wide receivers that the Sooners signed out of the portal. Harris was an All-ACC selection after putting up over 847 receiving yards and five touchdowns last season. He'll step in and replace Deion Burks on the outside. Harris ranked No. 76 in CBS Sports' portal rankings.

Livingstone will also start for the Sooners in 2026 after a strong redshirt freshman season for the Texas Longhorns. He came in at No. 94 in the rankings. In 2025, Livingstone had 29 receptions for 516 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 17 yards per reception and comes to the Sooners with great size and speed to be a difference-maker on the outside.

E'Marion Harris, Trell Harris, and Parker Livingstone represent significant upgrades to the offense along with tight end additions Hayden Hansen and Rocky Beers. If Oklahoma can improve from the 26 points per game they averaged in 2025, then they'll have a great opportunity to get back to the College Football Playoff again in 2026.
