A tribune at Sweden's World Cup training site has collapsed, with team officials suggesting that something went wrong during renovation work.
The tribune in the Frisco stadium near Dallas fell onto an area which contains a makeshift media stand but nobody was hurt because the team was not training at the time.
“They wanted to demolish something, but it looks as though it fell in the wrong direction,” general manager Stefan Pettersson told the Aftonbladet paper.
“Fortunately, nobody was injured. They must have blown something up – and something went wrong in the process.”
The damage was noticed when the team arrived for Wednesday training, but coach Graham Potter said it did not disrupt preparations for their final group match later on Thursday against Japan.
"We can use the whole pitch and all other facilities just like before," Potter said.
