Michigan State hockey concluded its 2025-26 regular season, and after an early exit in the Big Ten Tournament, the team awaits its fate in the NCAA Tournament.

Ahead of this weekend's Big Ten Tournament championship game, the conference released the recipients of its awards on Wednesday. For the Spartans, their netminder recieved the highest honor the conference has to offer.

Trey Augustine, for the second straight season, has earned the right to be called the Big Ten Goaltender of the Year. He gets the award after going 23-8-1 in his junior season, posting a .929 save percentage and a 2.09 goals against average.
