Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly preparing to get married in New York City on July 3, according to Page Six, and Swift has been a New York City resident for over a decade. You’ve surely heard “Welcome to New York.”
But relationships require compromise, which means Swift can’t revel in the New York Knicks’ best playoff run since 1999 because the love of her life is from Cleveland.
The Knicks demoralized the Cleveland Cavaliers and won the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals at Madison Square Garden earlier this week. The series shifted to Cleveland for Game 3 on Saturday night, and Kelce and Swift provided a morale boost for downtrodden Cavaliers fans.

Kelce and Swift arrived hand-in-hand and took their seats courtside. Kelce hyped up the crowd before tipoff, and they watched intently once the game started.
Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner, has admitted to becoming a sports fan after she began dating Kelce, a future Hall of Fame tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, in the summer of 2023. They got engaged last August, and their first public appearance after announcing their engagement was at a Cincinnati-Nebraska football game at Arrowhead.
Swift had a front-row seat to Kelce and the Chiefs reaching two straight Super Bowls in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII to become the NFL’s first back-to-back champions in 19 years, but they fell short of an unprecedented three-peat after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
The Cavaliers are begging for just an ounce of that Kelce-Swift devil magic that the Chiefs have enjoyed.
